PlaceStories is about creating a diverse online community of artists and health workers, with the aim of promoting the integration of various arts programs into government health policy.

As part of the National Arts and Health Policies Project, The Institute for Creative Health and it’s project partners Regional Arts Australia (RAA) and the Rural Health Alliance (RHA) have created Arts and Health Stories – a growing online community of artists, arts workers and health professionals from across Australia committed to integrating the arts into federal government health policy.

This website is based on the PlaceStories platform developed by Feral Arts.  Since official Federal, State and Territory Government endorsement was given to a National Arts and Health Framework, a unique opportunity has been developed for the integration of arts into national health policy and practices.

The Institute for Creative Health and it’s project partners are gathering examples of leading arts and health practice from across the country to demonstrate why the integration of arts in Australia’s national health policy is so important. We need your help to map the sector and invite you to join the online Arts and Health Stories Community and share your stories – make your voice heard.
